The Peninsula Panthers Hockey Club held their
2008/09 Awards
dinner and banquet this past weekend, at the Victoria Horseshoe Club. Panthers'
would like to thank their host for a very nice dinner, and the use of their
club.
Panthers owner John Wilson got things
underway handing out the first award to this year's Peninsula Panthers Volunteer
of the Year to Assistant Coach Bill Geddie. Bill has been with the
Panthers for ten years now, coaching, driving the bus, etc., and had a few
emotional words excepting the volunteer award. Panthers again would like to thank all their volunteers for
the time, and hard work they put in this year.
