COME AND MEET JAMIE BENN OF THE DALLAS STARS, AS HIS PENINSULA PANTHER JERSEY IS RETIRED!

JAMIE BENN IS COMING TO TOWN TO HAVE HIS PANTHER JERSEY RETIRED!

The Peninsula Panthers would like to invite you to come and meet Jamie Benn, get his autograph, and watch as his Panther jersey is retired and his jersey is hoisted to the rafters at Panorama Recreation Center on February 19th, 2010, when the Panthers will honour Jamie for his amazing accomplishments! Benn is currently playing in the NHL, as a 20 year old rookie for the Dallas Stars and is a Canadian Junior Gold Medal Winner!

On Friday, February 19th, the Panthers will honour Jamie at the Mary Winspear Center from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please come and join the Panther family, Jamie and his family for autographs, photographs and community spirit to celebrate all of Jamie’s accomplishments!

Following the Mary Winspear gathering, Jamie will then join his former team, at Panorama Recreation Center, where his jersey will be retired and Jamie will drop a ceremonial puck to begin the final game of the season between the rival Victoria Cougars and the Peninsula Panthers.
