The Peninsula Panthers continue to reshape their roster with several key additions to the club.
Joining the club are G Brady Berisoff (90) and F Brock Dodsworth (91).
Berisoff was acquired in a deal that saw D Ian Ellenberger to the Fernie Ghostriders (KIJHL) and Dodsworth has made the team out of training camp after spending last season with the Westshore Stingers.
In a subsequent deal G Scott Ismond (89) was traded to the Columbia Valley Rockies (KIJHL) in exchange for D Mike Ondzick (90). Ondzick was then dealt to the Victoria Cougars for future considerations.
Both Berisoff and Dodsworth are expected to have a big impact on the team. Berisoff is coming from an excellent program in Fernie and is expected to be one of the top goaltenders in the VIJHL this season. He has great size, handles the puck extemely well, and will be relied upon to provide leadership in the dressing. Peninsula Minor Hockey Association product Brock Dodsworth has made the team with an outstanding camp performance. Brock brings size, speed, and character to the forward lines and is expected to be a big contributor to the Panthers over the next few seasons.
